About Me

Established in 1990, Vintage Passementerie is the culmination of a lifelong dedication to textile design, costuming, lace and ribbon arts.

My journey into the fiber arts began with garment construction in my youth, eventually evolving into the disciplined study of traditional lacemaking. For over a decade, I operated as a specialist weaver, producing intricate production-level patterns for traditional coverlets and bespoke silks for high-end designer handbags.

My commitment to technical excellence is backed by three certificates from the City and Guilds of London Institute in Design, Embroidery, and Textile Decoration.

Today, while I continue to evolve as a textile artist, my focus at Vintage Passementerie is to use this deep technical background to curate a premier selection of ribbons, trims, and textiles. I am proud to provide fellow artisans and designers with the high-quality materials required to bring their own creative visions to life.
