I have art dyed vintage French ribbon in three different color ways. The ribbon is then fed through a smocker pleater and heat set to produce the ruched ribbon a shown. The edge will retain the pin holes used in the pleater which disappear into the folds.
Ribbon measures 2.75 inches in width, and is a soft, rayon ribbon. Ribbon is sold by the yard. Your yard will be straightened to the yard length before cutting. Makes lovely flowers as shown in the photo.
