Hand sewn appliques are made with metal cords, lace net and a trio of lovely gathered flowers tied with a bow. There is a gold bead at each center of the flowers.. These were popular for embellishment for the boudoir. Measurements of applique are 3 by 5 inches.
The cords and threads used are cotton covered with brass metal.
Each applique is new old stock. Circa 1920's 30's.
