Antique French fan is hand made with silver metal mesh embroidered with silver metal sequins. The ribs are vegetable ivory or bone that have been carved and detailed with silver. They are also painted silver on the back of the fan as shown in the pictures. The colors in the fan are reflections of the light, they are all silver. Fan measures about 7.5 inches long and 14 inches when opened. In excellent antique condition with no damage. There may be several loose stitches and scant rust on several of the sequins.
