Nanduti (spider wed) lace is a hand made needle lace originating in Paraguay.
Shown over a 1920's parasol which it does not fit. There are 8 points and I am assuming this might be made for a late 19th century parasol. Measurements are shown in the pictures. There is a finished center opening for the parasol top. Very delicate work in excellent condition. This parasol cover is unused.
