Hand sewn colorful ribbon work wreaths are made with antique French ribbons.
The ribbons used were made especially for delicate ribbon embellishments in the 1920/30's.
They have all the beautiful details that make ribbon work cherished among collectors.
Ruffled edges with gold metal thread details, a shirred textured stripe, and lovely, colorful ombre colors.
Seven different colors were used. They have withstood time in excellent condition.
7 different four petaled flowers with yellow stamen centers, a gold satin rose, and rare textured green ombre leaves.
Flowers are about 1.25 inch each, and the wreath is about 4 inches in diameter.
