Hand made needle lace applique has a basket motif with fruits and flowers. These antique appliques have sturdy buttonhole picot bridges and many fine details. Appliques were meant to be sewn into fine linens and textiles, but are also beautiful in lampshades and costume. Some pieces still have their hand written makers number on the backs.
