Antique French metal lace is woven with gold metal wrapped yellow cotton threads. Lace has wavy scallops with a braid heading. Gold metal lace is about 3/4th of an inch in width at the tips of the scallops. There are two scallops to the inch. This is a delicate but heavier lace fabulous for trimming. It is a beautiful gilt gold.
