Antique fringe was made to be added to your household linens and other textiles.
Fringe is offered in two different widths.
2 1/2 inch fringe has a sturdy 1/4th inch selvage reinforced with three rows of cotton chain stitch.
One inch fringe has two rows of decorative machine drawn work detail.
These feel like linen, but could be a mix of cotton/linen.
As you can see by the picture the Original label, this trim dates from the early 20th century.
In excellent unused condition.
