Black applique is hand sewn with thick cords. and large bobbles. Applique will need a stitch or two and has scant fray. Appliques like these were used for decoration on dresses, jackets and capelets.
Appliques measure about 7 by 8 inches in length. Black with lightening of the hand stitching.
