Exquisite appliques are hand sewn with cords in fanciful floral motifs.. Appliques like these were used for decoration on dresses, jackets and capelets.
Appliques measure about 2.5 by 3.5 inches in length each piece.
These are sold in left and right facing pairs. These were originally sold attached together with several stitches but are easily separated.
