Fabulous bunch of velvet millinery flowers and pink buds bouquet still have the original labels which read: "Made in occupied Japan" and one with a French "Prix" merchandise label. These tiny velvet flowers date from 1945/52. Larger bouquet has 8 separate smaller bouquets which have been wired together to form a bunch measuring about 3 1/2 inch in diameter by 6 inches long. These have mellowed with the decades and have a lovely ivory and cream palette with contrasting pink buds and Nippon green stems. Some of the bouquets still have hints of pale blue or lavender on the fabric sepals providing a tantalizing clue to their past. The perfect accent to your ribbon flower and millinery creations.
