These appliques were carefully removed from an antique silk dress from the house of A. Felix, Paris.
The dress could not be saved, but the appliques remain strong and beautiful.
They were hand sewn with gold metal picot cord, sewn to a sturdy cotton cord, then beaded with gold and silver beads in the paisley design shown.
There are remnants of the silk thread at the back which are easily removed.
Each piece measures about 3 by 7 inches.
Sold each pair.
