These fabulous shoes are similar to ones found at the Met: http://www.metmuseum.org/art/collection/search/110416
Shoes date from between 1890/1920.
Likely made for a costume ball.
Shoes have Louis heels, and are embroidered with silk floss onto ivory silk satin.
They have a strap that closes with a ceramic shoe button, and ribbon decorations on the vamps.
There are no stains, damage or other sign they were worn other than the soles of the shoes.
About 9 inches long by 3 inches in width.
These would be for display only as they are over 100 years old.
Lined in indigo blue cotton twill.
