Antique curtain is made with damask silk and corded velveteen with heavy gold metal cord embroidery.
There are motifs of scrolling flowers and leaves and a urn with flowers and foliage. These panels are separated with gold metal ribbon as shown in the pictures. It is also completely edged with the same ribbon and there are loops for hanging on a rod. Colors include gold, and burgundy wine.
This curtain is in excellent condition with only the gently faded patina fostered by time.
There is the tell tale signs there was a wire fringe that has been removed as evidenced by tiny wires at the hem. Textile is lined in heavy cotton and there are the remains of a tiny label.
Curtain measures 41 by 48 inches, and has a scalloped border.
