Stunning vintage French ribbon has very finely woven shaded violet flowers and buds with green leaves.
Violets have gold tinsel centers, with the gold threads carried at the back as shown in the picture, a very expensive way to weave ribbons.
Violet bouquet motifs alternate with sprinkled violet motifs on a black ground with thicker woven cord edges.
Ribbon measures 1 & 5/8th inches in width and is a medium/heavier weight.
