Antique French trim is hand made with wooden forms that have been covered with fabric and hand sewn to soutache cord. Bobbles are hand sewn to cord every 1 inch.. There are between 34 and 35 bobbles for every yard of trim. Fabulous for hats, costume and lampshades. Trim was found in Paris on the original card marked "PARIS". Rayon/cotton fibers. Excellent antique condition. Circa 1900.
