There are couched cords, bullion, padded, and silk embroidered details. Lovely floral and leafy motifs.
Length measures 5 by 39 inches, with a silk ruffle basted to the turned back selvages which can be easily removed.
Likely removed from a designer dress circa 1890/1900. Sewn to a sturdy cotton backing.
Excellent condition with no damage.
