
Antique French, Silk hand embroidered tapestry panels date from 1890/1900 or earlier. Silk threads are used to masterfully embroider in a myriad variety of tapestry stitches on open weave cotton fabric interlined with light biscuit colored cotton twill. There are decorative fillings, gold/silver threads etc. Palette includes; pinks, blues and greens, silver grey, olive, golds and cocoa browns.
Embroidery is in excellent antique condition.
Scant scattered darker patina to the cotton and may have small opening/hole in the length of the piece.
Each length measures 6.5 inches by 1 yard 32 inches and are complete.
