Fine antique Victorian hand embroidered wool felt in blue, green and golden brown silks with stitches including; satin stitch, long and short, stem, and French knots. Very fine attention to detail. Embroidery is done on fine wool felt with hand crimped scalloped edges and featherstitched details. Backing is a fine cotton muslin.
Length measures 38 inches with a width of 4.25 inches.
There is no damage on these beautiful lengths. I have left some of the original blue silk velvet on the edges.
