These vintage embroidered appliques have a black fabric petal detail that has been layered on organza and embroidered with silky rayon and cotton threads.
Used as an overlay for fashion garments or as accents for your millinery creations. These organdy appliques date from the 1960's or earlier. The Swiss have always made the very best embroidered appliques, and these are no exception. Appliqued trim measures 2 and 1/4th inch in width, with a repeating design of three flowers and leaves. About 4 and 3/4th inches in length.
