French silk pettipoint purse with Art Nouveau fittings
French purse has two different floral designs on either side. There are pansys, roses, lilys,
primrose and other flowers in silk pettipoint. Purse frame is brass with remnants of silver gilt.
Lining is pink silk and is intact, but has soiling from age and use. Chain is a double 16 inches, and has solid brass links. Purse has very tiny scattered age flaws, several missing stitches, but is in otherwise lovely condition.
Purse is 9 1/2 inches long, and 7 1/2 inches wide.
