Antique French gold metal lace scalloped picots roses
Rare French metal lace is woven on antique looms with gold metal wrapped cotton threads. Lace has tiny picots with a scalloped border and stylized rose and dot motifs. Gold metal lace is about 3/4th of an inch in width at the tips of the scallops. There are two scallops every 1 &1/4 inch. This is the most delicate gold metal lace I have ever found. It is a beautiful gold with no tarnish. Found on the original bolt carefully wrapped with tissue. Excellent condition.
