Princess lace flowers are a small 1 & 1/8th inch appliques made from finely made cotton lace tape. They have a small needlelace filling of cotton pearl embroidery thread. These were used to make lace borders and embellishments for wedding dresses in the 1950/60's. 12 to a bunch.
